On doors these pulls are typically installed with an upright vertical orientation. Line the top edge of the hardware with the bottom edge of the top rail or center it on the frame. For example if your drawers are 36 inches wide half of 36 is 18 half of 18 is 9. It s a shallow bevel and you might not be able to see it so use the try square to be sure. Center the hardware horizontally on the stile between 2 and 4 inches down from the top edge. Consider 2 knobs for drawers that are 24 inches or wider. Using the horizontal rail of the door frame place your screw hole or orient the bottom end of the handle.

The alternative to centering your hardware is to place it on the upper frame piece or on a slab drawer in the upper quarter of the drawer. Therefore each pull is centered 9 inches from the left and right edge of the drawer front. In shaker style cabinets note that you may place a knob within or outside the frame. The typical height to place knobs is 2 5 3 from the bottom of the door on upper cabinets or from the top of the door on lower cabinets.
