Create a sloped roof with an overhang.

Click architecture tab roof drop down roof by footprint.

Select an interior wall and then right click.
Open the 02 lower parapet floor plan.
On the contextual tab of the ribbon select attach and then select the flat roof.
This option turns off the roof slope extrusion for the line.

The perimeter of the roof assembly insulation is wrapped to prevent interstitial airflow from the parapet into the multilayered rigid insulation of the field of the roof.

Your now have a flat roof.
Select finish roof on the create roof footprint ribbon.
On the draw panel click pick walls.
Open a 3d view to see the resulting roof elements.
In the drawing area highlight an entry wall.
Select the lines of the roof outline and right click over the line.
You can see the interior walls extend through the flat roof.
If the parapet is not high enough increase the offset from the top level.
Where the roof slopes toward a parapet at a slope greater than two units vertical in 12 units horizontal 16 7 percent slope the parapet shall extend to the same height as any portion of the roof within a fire separation distance where protection of wall openings is required but in no case shall the height be less than 30 inches 762 mm.
Offset the top by 1 9 or 500mm if your metric when you then create your roof choosing the internal core of the walls it will sit below the top of the external wall.
On the options bar for overhang enter 600 and select defines slope.
The second option in the list is toggle slope defining.
The cure for parapetitus is continuity of the control layers and letting things move when they have to move.
